...B sure to wear some flowers in you're hair. Yeah this is just a quick update, despite me having a lot to say. I spent the Holiday season in sunny San Francisco, explaining some of the new photos floating up. And I must say I loved it, it's a beautiful fun, tourist orientated city and it suited me just fine (the weather was nice as well). Walking the Golden Gate Bridge, touring Golden Gate park, Lombard Street, Alcatraz, shopping in Japantown and Chinatown (I loved them both) it was a pretty rocking week. Washington

0 min read
Another great weekend out world! Been up and around Washington State, bouldering in the Puget Sound (Orcas Island). And yeah it was scary, the steepest hills I've even been on, clinging onto loose shales and rotted wood as you dangle 800ft above the crashing waves. I didn't know what to expect when I started and yeah... NEVER AGAIN. It was fun though, I don't regret it. In total we descended just over 1600ft and then climbed back up again, not a mountain I know, but 1600ft on your hands and knees is tiring stuff. Still we did the whole thing (a 12 mile round trip) in under 5 hours and it certainly made me more confident in my fitness levels :

The title says it. One of my mates told me he needed help with a job up in Washington this weekend, me wanting to travel said yes of course. It was only then he told me the 'job' was a 24 hour motocross endurance race, the largest such one in North America. So yeah  had a frantic weekend working the pits, fixing the bikes and keeping the riders awake and ready and I tell you it as a lot of fun. I've never done or seen anything quite like it, but man was it fun (and tiring, even for me). The course wound through 3 loops with technical sections, steep scrambles and hurtles through old farmhouses, it was quite a sight. And what an area as well
